Margaret, thank you so much for this - i feel itβs part of our 12th step to give back. How long ago did you go to rehab and how long do you have sober? I re-stacked your other stack giving the shout out. Thank you so much. One question I was going to email you - do you have a rehab near you youβd like me to contact or okay with me sending to Circles of Care in Melbourne Florida where I grew up and a lot of friends from High School ended up there decades ago like I did.
Oh wow, you just made my day /night turn brighter than it was. Thank you for that and straight to Godβs ears. Ha. As youβll read in the book, I ran from Hollywood, but it doesnβt mean we donβt think about the what ifs. Iβd rather see who you think of when you read it. I love your writing as well Jennifer. We are here to do the work, to bring light in ways we sometimes donβt even understand. Virtual hugs over there.
I've already read this book and it's an exceptional read. Many people might assume any book they consider to be a biography, a memoir, a self-help, or other nonfiction story of personal growth and transformation will not be an entertaining read. Don't think of It's Messy in Here this way. Cyn's book, though tragic at times, is not a downer. It has a little of everything and a lot of humor, which is dark, quick and constant. The pace of the book in its entirety is also fast. Add to this that the shock value lasts from cover to cover and you'll find It's Messy in Here is not boring!
Hi Cyn, wow, your response just did the same for my night. Thank you so much for words this special. Even though this reply is arriving days late, it doesnβt mean it holds any less weight. Thank you.
this is so good, and so true. some of us do not need the swanky rooms with the European cars parked in front. what we (including myself in this) need is/are something real, people with problems that eclipse our own, but somehow still keep coming back. (you know my journey started at 329 N 11th St., in downtown Las Vegas)
You are back.....and you are something really special to come back to..never doubt it again. Really well written. Stay strong because just like changing weather the battles keep coming. You are back so keep coming back^^
More than monologue we are given its the simple straightforward things that are said to us that stick. A sentence, a word, a phrase that resonates more than anything.
I just got your book Cyn and will be digging in to it soon.
"What an ass" is what makes the whole thing credible. Most people would cut their own first reaction and go straight to the realisation. Leaving it in is why the turn lands.
And "not yet" at the end. You don't let yourself have the uplift there, and it's much stronger for it.
Right!? After he yelled at meβ¦ then saw me crying admitting he was rightβ¦ thatβs when he folded because he knew I got his message. Loud and clear.
I cannot wait to hear the rest congrats π. Getting to a meeting seems easy but itβs not. This is wonderfully wriiten.
Thanks so much Honey - thatβs right, itβs one of the hardest things ever to do in lifeβ¦ and now on my Sunday I canβt wait to get to a mtg. xx
Wow. What an amazing option to purchase the book to send to a rehab center. Done!

Had to look up where that is, TIE Club downtown. Must have spinned you straight there alright. Thanks Keller, this one was a hard one to hit post. x

Thanks for saying that Graeme, sometimes I need the reminder but here I am, and here we are... we keep coming back for ourselves and each other. x
Take care
βKeep coming back kid.β
